Broadcaster BBC Faces Data Breach


A data breach at the BBC affected over 25,000 current and former employees, compromising names, birthdates, genders, home addresses, and insurance numbers. The incident did not involve the exposure of phone numbers, email addresses, user credentials, or sensitive health information. The BBC Pension Trust Chair Catherine Claydon assured that immediate steps were taken to contain the incident, and the source of the breach has been secured.
