Educause is an organization dedicated to the development of IT in higher education. Educause has published a list of data privacy trends for 2024 to start the year. This list contains “Increasing need for data security and protection against threats to personal privacy” and “More calls for data-informed decision-making and reporting.” There is also a much larger push for employee care, such as mental health and hybrid workplaces. The focus on technical and personal well-being will greatly impact higher education in the new year.
