Humane, a Bay Area-based startup, has recently announced its first product, the Ai Pin. Which only took years of development and $230 million in funding. The Ai Pin is a voice-based, always-connected device aimed at helping users reduce screen time and stay engaged with the world around them, utilizing generative AI as ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini. Priced at $699, the Ai Pin comes with additional accessories and subscription options, representing Humane’s vision for a new generation of AI-driven devices to address the problem of excessive smartphone usage.
