Video doorbell company Ring will no longer cooperate with law enforcement and their requests for users’ doorbell footage. This is a step in the right direction to protect Americans’ privacy. However, Ring’s new guidelines won’t prohibit law enforcement from trying to obtain video through users or the company without a warrant.
