While technology, such as laptops and VR headsets, can provide incredible opportunities in terms of the quality of students’ education,  they can also come with major data privacy risks. Many of the tools used in K-12 classrooms today collect enormous amounts of personal data from their users. The legality of this practice is under question and may be the cause of new data privacy regulations.
