OpenAI, Adobe, and Microsoft has recently endorsed California’s Bill (AB 3211), which would require AI- generated content to be watermarked. There are concerns about enforced this would be. A trade group representing Microsoft and Adobe initially opposed this bill, calling it “unworkable” and “overly burdensome”. Most recently this trade group has accepted and decided to go along with it.
