Video doorbell company Ring will no longer cooperate with law enforcement and their requests for users’ doorbell footage. This is a step in the right direction to protect Americans’ privacy. ChatGPT has many positive practical uses. However, certain privacy restrictions can be bypassed, allowing users to access personal information. Jeremy White, Graphics Editor at the New York Times, recounts an alarming experience with Rui Zhu, a Ph.D. candidate at Indiana University Bloomington. Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company, has agreed to settle a lawsuit. The lawsuit claimed Alphabet Inc. tracked the internet use of millions of people through Google’s “incognito” mode, which claims to be a private browser.
